Food manufacturing requirements

Meeting the Food Manufacturing Requirements demonstrates your commitment to food safety and the quality of your product while maintaining the Woolworths brand integrity and the safety of their customers.

Certification to this standard requires the supplier to demonstrate compliance with the three levels of the Supplier Excellence Program, including an audit of a GFSI benchmark standard or Supplier Excellence Base Standard.

  • Level 1: GFSI or Woolworths Base Standard
  • Level 2: Codes of practice and industry standards
  • Level 3: Specifications

Non-food & consumer goods requirements

The formulated non-food & consumer goods requirements apply to all general merchandise, packaging products, health, beauty, household, non-food grocery, formulated non-food products, and where applicable non-trade products.

Certification demonstrates your commitment to product safety and quality, requiring the supplier to demonstrate compliance with the three levels of the Supplier Excellence Program.

  • Level 1: Consumer goods requirements – GM & non-trade
  • Level 2: Relevant codes of practice and product categories
  • Level 3: Product specifications
