Certification & assessment
IATF 16949 applies to the design and development, production, installation and servicing of automotive-related products. The updated TS standard was developed in collaboration with the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) and replaces ISO/TS 16949 with all organisations now required to have implemented the revised management systems in line with current IATF 16949 requirements.
As one of a limited number of recognised certification bodies with SMMT approval, LRQA provides IATF 16949 certification services at a global level.
