Bristan makes the transition to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
Bristan successfully achieved ISO 9001:2015 in May 2018 and ISO 14001:2015 in June 2018 with LRQA, continuing their commitment to providing quality products and services and protecting the natural environment. This achievement provides assurance to its customers and other key stakeholders that their quality and environmental processes adhere to the most recent quality and environmental management specifications published by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization).
Bristan updated its existing quality and environmental policies and controls to reflect the changes to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and the introduction of Annex SL, the high-level structure for all new and revised ISO standards. Bristan’s quality and environmental management systems are now incorporated into their overarching business strategy, helping to meet business goals and objectives and improve organisational performance.
Following a rigorous on-site audit from LRQA, certification clearly demonstrates Bristan’s senior leadership engagement and employee contribution to its quality and environmental commitments.
Paul Jones, Bristan Group HSE & Facilities Manager said: “At Bristan, we believe that protecting the environment should be a core objective throughout our business. By building that philosophy into our daily operations and strategy, we are able to offer quality products and services with minimal impact on the world around us.
“We are extremely proud of this transition from ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015, as it demonstrates our ongoing dedication to improving our environmental policy in a way which also benefits our business. We’d like to thank LRQA for their support through this process, and to our staff for their hard work in achieving this accreditation.”
Ron Bishop, UK&I Area Field Assessment Manager at LRQA comments, “Bristan successfully transitioning to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 shows it continues to effectively manage its quality and environmental impacts through risk management, legal compliance and continual improvement.”
