LRQA establishes AI Think Tank and Data Science team

As part of its ambitious digital transformation programme, LRQA has launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Think Tank and dedicated Data Science team.

The use of AI to enhance processes and solve business challenges is accelerating across many industries. AI offers LRQA significant opportunity to deliver more value for clients, as well as new ways to make LRQA’s operations more efficient.

AI Think Tank

The AI Think Tank has been established to explore and implement AI solutions that will drive LRQA’s digital transformation. The team focuses on:

  • Exploring emerging AI technologies
    Identifying and evaluating new AI developments that can enhance LRQA’s digital business model.
  • Adapting to industry changes
    Assessing how AI can help LRQA better serve its clients in evolving industries.
  • Strategic alignment and overcoming execution barriers
    Ensuring AI initiatives support LRQA’s broader business objectives and using AI to address operational challenges and improve process efficiency.

Data Science team

To drive these AI initiatives, LRQA has also established a dedicated Data Science team, focused on developing and implementing AI-driven projects:

  • Planning optimisation
    Automating the assignment of auditors to jobs, significantly speeding up the planning process and improving service delivery.
  • AI-assisted report generation and review
    Developing tools to assist client-facing teams with data collection and report generation based on auditors’ findings, reducing administrative tasks and improving efficiency.
