Urszula Szalkowska leads EcoEngineers’ (An LRQA company) European practice helping clients navigate complex climate and energy regulations across the EU. She brings more than 20 years of expertise in energy transition, climate policy, and regulatory strategy.
Biography
Urszula is a seasoned advisor on EU renewable energy and climate policy. At LRQA, she supports clients across Europe and beyond with compliance, carbon market strategy, and sustainability planning. Her work spans regulated and voluntary carbon markets, emissions trading systems, and low-carbon fuel policy. She also contributes to alignment of U.S. and EU climate regulations.
Previously, she held leadership roles in consulting and market intelligence at SGS and Hart Energy, and worked as a legal expert influencing EU energy legislation. She holds master’s degrees in Law, European Law, and EU Structural Funds, and is active in expert groups on fuels, sustainability, and climate strategy.
