The recent movement from soft to hard law related to human rights and environmental due diligence (HREDD) in the EU requires businesses world-wide who are in scope to review their existing approach.

The implementation of the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) is a major focus for businesses requiring companies to significantly extend the sustainability information they publicly disclose.

The CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive) is now on the horizon as well and requires businesses to report their due diligence activities in line with the CSRD. It aims to foster sustainable and responsible corporate behaviour in companies' operations and across their global chain of activities. Crucially, the interconnections go beyond reporting: both directives ask companies, for example, to identify potential and actual adverse impacts and establish a climate plan.

Due to the close connection, the alignment of approaches and management systems is key, also for an effective and efficient implementation. As LRQA team we are supporting companies in this process. This webinar will provide practical insights into implementing both regulations, will highlight common pitfalls and show how to best leverage synergies.
