Global markets are changing fast. Supply chains are under pressure, regulation is intensifying and organisations are expected to demonstrate transparency across quality, safety, environmental and social performance – often simultaneously.
Against this backdrop, LRQA has strengthened its presence in the Americas through the acquisition of three complementary US-based businesses: Lindinger Inspection Engineers, International Compliance Group (ICG) and the American Center for Sustainable Certifications (ACSC).
Together, they expand LRQA’s ability to help clients manage risk professionally and therefore invest with confidence and grow sustainably.
The acquisitionsare the latest in a sustained period of growth for LRQA, following an established track record of acquisitions across the UK, US and Asia in recent years, with a strong global pipeline of further opportunities underway.
In the Americas in particular, these acquisitions represent a significant investment in LRQA’s regional presence, adding scale, depth and leadership across inspection, certification and responsible sourcing. By strengthening local capability while connecting clients to LRQA’s global platform, the group is reinforcing its long-term commitment to supporting organisations across the region as they navigate increasingly complex risk, regulatory and sustainability challenges.
Lisa Bate, LRQA Executive Vice President for the Americas, said:
“These acquisitions are a clear statement of intent for the Americas. We are investing in proven businesses with strong reputations, exceptional leadership and deep technical expertise and bringing them together on one integrated LRQA platform. This significantly expands our capacity and capabilities in the region, allowing us to support clients more closely, more consistently and at greater scale as they respond to evolving regulatory and operational demands.”
Jonathan Chidley, Corporate Development Director for LRQA, said:
"What unites these businesses is deep technical credibility, their well-respected leaders and a shared commitment to helping clients protect people and assets. By fully integrating them into the LRQA platform while retaining entrepreneurial expertise from founders and owners with shared values, we’re building capability at pace, and we continue to pursue an active acquisition pipeline globally.”

About the acquisitions
Lindinger Inspection Engineers, based in Houston, Texas, becomes LRQA’s first dedicated Inspection Services acquisition in the US. The business enhances LRQA’s technical inspection capability, enabling greater scale and delivery for major EPC clients across the energy, infrastructure and industrial sectors.
International Compliance Group (ICG), a highly respected US-based social auditing firm, significantly expands LRQA’s Responsible Sourcing capability. With deep expertise in internationally recognised standards including SLCP, WRAP, Higg FEM and SEDEX, ICG adds more than 1,500 annual audits, strengthening the data and intelligence underpinning LRQA’s supply chain risk intelligence software, EiQ.
ACSC, a Michigan-based certification specialist, brings high-quality expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, with a strong client base in the automotive sector. The acquisition enables ACSC’s global clients to access LRQA’s full international delivery platform.
One strategy, one platform
While each acquisition brings distinct expertise, they are united by a common approach: full integration into the LRQA platform, based by global infrastructure and data-driven insight, all while retaining the entrepreneurial expertise that makes each business successful.
With strong momentum across ESG, energy transition, inspection and data analytics, LRQA remains open to partnering with more businesses who have a shared commitment to building long-term, integrated risk management capabilities for a global client base.
