Following assessment by UKAS, LRQA can deliver accredited certification for the new international occupational health and safety (OH&S) standard, ISO 45001:2018.
LRQA has become one of the first wave of certification bodies to be awarded global accreditation by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) for the international occupational health and safety management system standard, ISO 45001:2018.
Third-party management systems certification shows compliance to a standard or regulatory requirements and can drive continual improvement. Accredited certification gives an additional level of confidence and trust as it shows that your certification body works to internationally recognised standards to deliver a consistent and impartial assessment.
Steve Williams, System and Governance Manager at LRQA, commented, “We are delighted to have achieved global UKAS accreditation for ISO 45001. It recognises the competence and sector-specific expertise of our assessors and gives our clients confidence that their OH&S management system will reduce risks and improve the safety and health of their workforce.”
LRQA has a wealth of resources to help you understand the new standard. We offer a range of ISO 45001:2018 assessment services as well as public and in-house training courses to help you get the most from your OH&S management system.
