LRQA’s (LRQA) training courses for the new international occupational health and safety (OHS) standard have gained CQI and IRCA accreditation. This demonstrates that they meet the highest industry standards.
Following a rigorous assessment, LRQA's five-day ISO 45001:2018 Auditor/Lead Auditor course and the two-day Lead Auditor Migration course have achieved accreditation from the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) and the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA). The five-day course is for people completing their CQI and IRCA OHS Management System Lead Auditor registration for the first time. The two-day course enables existing Lead Auditors to update their knowledge and skills based on new standard and how it compares to OHSAS 18001:2007.
CQI and IRCA certified training is mapped to a unique competency framework based on the latest skills needed by employers. As an Approved Training Partner, LRQA has been thoroughly assessed to ensure the highest standards.
Wayne Roden, Trainer Manager for the UK & I commented, “This achievement shows that LRQA's ISO 45001 training courses give our clients the most relevant and up-to-date skills and knowledge. This enables them to deliver meaningful audits that help improve OHS performance, making the workplace safer and healthier for their colleagues or clients.”
As an organisation with safety at its core, LRQA offers a range of ISO 45001 assessment services as well as public and in-house training courses designed to help our clients worldwide to migrate smoothly to the new standard. Find out more and book a course at a time and place to suit you.
