Understanding public funding for LRQA training programs
As a Qualiopi-certified training organization, LRQA offers training courses that may be eligible for public funding through the OPCOs (Operators of Competence). This guide aims to inform and assist you in exploring these funding opportunities.
Insight into OPCOs
The OPCOs, established as a new framework for OPCAs since 2019, are government-sanctioned bodies tailored to specific sectors. Every company is affiliated with an OPCO relevant to its industry. These bodies play a critical role in guiding and supporting companies and their employees in vocational training endeavors.
OPCO funding for training
Training provided by LRQA could be eligible for financing, either partially or in full, under the Skills Development Plan. This plan primarily targets the training needs of employees in VSEs and SMEs. It is designed to facilitate adaptation to the workplace, enhancement of job performance, and development of professional skills.

Identify your relevant OPCO
Each company or individual needs to identify the OPCO (Operator of Competence) that corresponds to their specific industry sector. This can be done using tools like the France Compétences search engine, where you input your SIRET number or IDCC code to find the appropriate OPCO.
Understand funding opportunities and requirements
Once you've identified your OPCO, the next step is to understand the types of training programs that are eligible for funding and the specific requirements of these programs. This typically involves reviewing the OPCO’s guidelines on the Skills Development Plan, which aims to support training for employees, particularly in VSEs and SMEs.
Apply for training funding
The final step is to apply for funding through the identified OPCO. This process involves submitting an application that outlines your training needs and how they align with the objectives of the Skills Development Plan. Approval is subject to the OPCO's assessment of your application against their criteria and available funding.
